Schwing Bioset is seeking a full-time, experienced Sandblaster/Paint Prep Technician to join our growing team. This is a first-shift position with a four-day workweek: Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday, 10 hours per day.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare parts for painting, including pressure washing, sanding, masking, and light disassembly/assembly.
- Maintain communication with team members regarding work progress.
- Assist with general shop upkeep: sweeping, cleaning, and maintaining the paint booth (changing filters, cleaning lights/floors).
- Safely use ladders and climb on large equipment as needed.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience as listed on your resume.
- Ability to read blueprints or drawings.
- Computer literacy and strong communication skills.
- Ability to stand/walk on concrete 90%+ of the workday and lift up to 75 lbs.
- Bending, stooping, and working in adverse conditions (heat/cold) required.
- Must wear proper protective gear (steel-toe boots required, metatarsal boots recommended, safety glasses or welding shield depending on task).
