Purchasing Administrator

What we do:

Schwing Bioset, Inc. is a fast-paced, growing company located in Somerset, WI, just outside Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN. Schwing Bioset exists to pioneer and develop high performance, material handling solutions, and is dedicated to serving the wastewater, mining, and industrial markets with specialized products and engineered solutions. Our products are presently installed in a wide variety of custom engineered and highly specialized applications including wastewater treatment plants, mines, power plants, dredging, refineries, pharmaceutical facilities, and chemical processing plants in both US and international markets.

Primary Responsibility:

Primarily responsible is to assist the purchasing department with daily functions within a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update vendor quotes in SAP
• Updating of purchasing records to ensure accurate information
• Review and enter order acknowledgments
• Update purchase orders per buyer’s requests
• Prepare purchase orders and send to buyers for review
• Credit card purchases and enter monthly spend reports
• Data entry, creating Excel sheets for bids
• Assist with creating monthly analytics reporting
• Attend department/interdepartmental meetings when necessary
• Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality
• Maintain documentation for purchasing related activities for reference purposes
• Support the department with data entry and responsible accurate record keeping
• Roles and responsibilities may be modified at any time by management

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
• 2-5 years’ experience with SAP preferred
• Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, etc. required
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask
• Excellent communication skills
