CNC Programmer / Operator – Somerset, WI  

Schwing Bioset, Inc. (headquartered in Somerset, WI) is a pioneer in developing high performance, material handling solutions dedicated to serving the wastewater, mining, and industrial markets with specialized products and engineered solutions. Our products are presently installed in a wide variety of custom engineered and highly specialized applications including wastewater treatment plants, mines, power plants, dredging, refineries, pharmaceutical facilities, and chemical processing plants in both US and international markets. SBI is seeking an experienced full-time CNC Programmer/Operator in our Somerset, WI locationStarting pay is dependent on qualifications and experience.

Essential Functions:

  • Set up, program, and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to blueprints and specifications.
  • Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • In-Process inspection of parts and monitoring of processes
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues with machines to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet production schedules and deliver finished products on time.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure parts meet strict quality standards and make any necessary adjustments.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience.
  • Experienced understanding of machine control management, including awareness of all standard machine code terminology and usage
  • Experience with vertical CNC’s and live tooling CNC lathes.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
  • SolidWorks, Cimatron, MasterCam or other CAD/CAM software experience a plus.
  • Experienced understanding and awareness of measurement tool usage (Gage pins, calipers, micrometers, etc.)
  • Extensive knowledge of CNC programming and operation, including tooling selection and setup.
  • Strong understanding of machining processes, cutting tools, and materials.
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments to verify product quality.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and problem-solving in a machining environment.
  • Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and supervisors effectively.

Pay depending on experience.
