Schwing Bioset, Inc. is Exhibiting at MINExpo 2016

 

Schwing Bioset, Inc. is excited to be exhibiting at the 2016 MINExpo Event in Las Vegas on September 26 - 28.  

Please be sure to stop by our booth (#4258) while you're on the exhibit floor. We will be displaying our NEW KSP 315XL - SSL, which is the largest pump we manufacture. This pump uses the most modern technology in Positive Displacement Piston Pumps with our proprietary “Synchro Flow System” to minimize line pulsation and is capable of up to 230 m3/hr and 150 Bar of material pressure.

Schwing Bioset Wraps Up 2016 Spring KSP Pump Service Seminar

Schwing Bioset KSP Pump Training Schwing Bioset KSP Pump Training

The first two days of training are held in the classroom and cover safety, operations, maintenance, and basic hydraulics.  The third day of training provides hands-on experience where attendees train with the SBI Parts and Service, Quality Control, and Customer Service departments working directly with equipment to learn about its use, maintenance, and using it safely.  Some of the topics discussed include hydraulics, poppet valves, power packs, schematic reading, troubleshooting, screw feeders, sludge pumps, preventative maintenance, and much more.

Schwing Bioset typically offers two KSP Pump Service Seminars per year.  The next training will take place in the fall of 2016.  Training fills up fast, so please consider registering ahead of time if you are interested in attending.

Our Service Department is also available to come to your location and train at your facilities. Larry Larson Retires from Schwing Bioset

The Schwing Bioset team would like to congratulate Larry Larson on his retirement and thank him for his years of service.

Larry has been an invaluable asset to our team for 27 years (to the day!). He has helped the parts department to be one of the best in the business and helped to prepare the department to continue to strive for excellence into the future. His dedication to push us to the next level will be greatly missed.

Larry has been a friend and a mentor to many throughout his years with our company.

Congrats Larry and enjoy your retirement!

Schwing Bioset Holds First Spanish KSP Pump Service Seminar

Schwing Bioset, Inc. (SBI) is currently holding its Fall KSP Pump Service Seminar. For the first time, the seminar is being held for Spanish speaking attendees. The seminar is being led by Schwing Bioset’s Quality Control Specialists, Jack Koehler and Jimmy Esquivel. The seminar and training is designed for Spanish speaking Schwing Bioset mining pump customers to learn how to properly use and maintain their equipment, to help ensure they get the most out of it.  The course builds 24 hours toward quality training and education for the attendee. 

The first two days of training are held in the classroom and cover safety, operations, maintenance, and basic hydraulics.  The third day of training provides hands-on experience where attendees train with the SBI Parts and Service, Quality Control, and Customer Service departments working directly with equipment to learn about its use, maintenance, and using it safely.  Some of the topics discussed include hydraulics, poppet valves, power packs, schematic reading, troubleshooting, screw feeders, sludge pumps, preventative maintenance, and much more. 

Schwing Bioset offers two KSP Pump Service Seminars per year and plans to hold more Spanish courses in the future.  The next KSP Seminar will take place in the spring of 2016. If you’re interested in learning more about the training, visit our website here.

Service Technician Tim Kelley Retires from Schwing Bioset

The Schwing Bioset team would like to congratulate Tim Kelley on his retirement.

Tim was a strategic addition to what was then known as the “Slurry Division” of Schwing America, nearly 25 years ago. 

At Schwing Bioset, Tim brought us to the next level with his technical knowledge of PLC controls, instrumentation, electronics, computers, and Autocad. 

Tim has been a mentor to many throughout his years at Schwing and Schwing Bioset.  He always worked hard and put in extra effort with no complaint.

He has made many friends along the way with customers and cohorts and will be missed immensely!

Congrats Tim and enjoy your retirement!
