Production Technician- Somerset, WI<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Schwing Bioset, Inc. (located in Somerset, WI) is a pioneer in developing high performance, material handling solutions dedicated to serving the wastewater, mining, and industrial markets with specialized pumps and engineered solutions in wastewater treatment plants, mines, dredging, both US and international markets. SBI is seeking a\u00a0<\/span>Production Technician<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in industrial maintenance. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various mechanical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. The primary responsibility is to work as a member of the production team in assembling all parts and equipment necessary to complete production requirements.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Assembly of customized project-specific heavy equipment. Included but not limited to mechanical, hydraulic, and fluid handling systems, and electrical wiring and instrumentation.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Light metal fabrication and welding.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Meet weekly goals and assignments such that production goals are met, and project schedule does not slip.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Read hydraulic schematics for proper plumbing of hydraulic circuits.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Understand and follow assembly drawings.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Follow established Schwing Bioset assembly practices and procedures.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Follow safe work practices and maintain a clean and safe work area.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Consult needed changes on released equipment with Production Manager or Lead; mark assembly drawings with agreed upon changes made to ensure as-built equipment is documented.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Assist as needed with preparation of production parts and equipment for shipping.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Perform reasonably similar or related duties as instructed by Production Manager and\/or Production Lead.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Conduct all your activities within the guidelines of all company policies, procedures, and work rules.<\/p>\n

  • Must Have High School Diploma.<\/li>\n
  • At least one year on a manufacturing floor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    \u00b7 Basic mechanical aptitude and knowledge required.<\/p>\n

    \u00b7 Ability to safely lift to 50 lbs.<\/p>\n

    \u00b7 Able to stand several hours during an 8-hour shift.<\/p>\n

    \u00b7 Must be flexible to work extra hours when needed.<\/p>\n

    \u00b7 Self-starter who is disciplined, dependable, and resourceful.<\/p>\n

    \u00b7 Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills.<\/p>\n
