Director of Project Management – Somerset, WI<\/b><\/h3>\n

Schwing Bioset, Inc. (located in Somerset, WI) is a pioneer in developing high performance, material handling solutions dedicated to serving the wastewater, mining, and industrial markets with specialized products and engineered solutions. Our products are presently installed in a wide variety of custom engineered and highly specialized applications including wastewater treatment plants, mines, power plants, dredging, refineries, pharmaceutical facilities, and chemical processing plants in both US and international markets.<\/p>\n

los\u00a0<\/span>Director, Project Management Office<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>is a departmental leadership role for a seasoned PM. This role is responsible for leading a team of Project Management Professionals at SBI tasked with managing a complex portfolio of projects. The role will include monitoring of overall departmental performance, formulation of PM strategies including departmental processes and operations. The Director will be responsible for growing and maturing Schwing Bioset\u2019s Project Management Team while providing leadership and strategic guidance for this key function of SBI\u2019s Professional Services team.<\/p>\n

You will be responsible for achieving and improving upon the PMO team\u2019s targets for productivity, efficiency, and quality by continuously assessing the current state of the organization\/Department, making recommendations, and driving solutions. Additionally, you will be accountable to motivate, inspire and coach a high performing team of full-time team members ensuring a good balance between continuous improvement, engagement, and goal achievement.<\/p>\n

Essential Job Functions Include:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7 Defining PM priorities, goals which include full project life cycles ownership and devising methods to accomplish them<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Manage the PM\u2019s execution of projects and monitor progress, providing accurate and timely information to Senior Management<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Mentor PM staff on processes and tasks and work with external stakeholders \u2013 including developing the process\/plan for supporting solutions that will address client goals while maintaining the alignment with industry best practices<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Research best practices within and outside the organization and incorporate them in daily operations<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Develop deep partnerships with our Engineering, Manufacturing and Product Management teams to deliver against required goals<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Ensure PM teams excel in leadership, critical thinking, problem solving, decision making, teamwork, collaboration, professionalism, work ethic, organization, and communication skills<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Oversee the development of project tracking and KPI dashboards and tools to support the Project Managers and individual Project KPI\u2019s including scope, budget, and resources<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Accountable for efficient and effective facilitation of regular and highly visible Project Management governance mechanisms<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Train, coach and set expectations for all Project managers to improve Project Management capabilities<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Build a culture within the PM team that aligns with SBI\u2019s values and enables peer to peer accountability<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Establish the pathways for escalation of project issues within the organization to provide the right level of awareness and decision making<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature the required capabilities for the organization<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7 6 years of Project Management Experience with Bachelors. (4 years Project Management experience with a Masters Degree)<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Minimum Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Construction Management or Project Management<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business and technical organizations<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Build and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus, and overall achieve objectives and results<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Self-motivated, decisive with ability to adapt to change<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Experience with negotiating and managing customer contracts<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Expert knowledge and technical skills related to project and operations management<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Nice to have – PMP or other Project Management Certification<\/p>\n
