Primarily responsible for purchasing and sourcing. Looking for a qualified Purchaser\/Buyer that thrives within a fast-paced environment.<\/p>\n

Responsabilidades laborales:<\/b><\/p>\n

  • Communicate with current and potential suppliers in a friendly and professional manner<\/li>\n
  • Prepares purchase orders by verifying specifications and price; obtaining recommendations from suppliers for substitute items; obtaining approval from department manager<\/li>\n
  • Obtains purchased items by forwarding orders to suppliers; monitoring and expediting orders<\/li>\n
  • Verify vendor acknowledgments for purchase orders<\/li>\n
  • Compare, maintain and update vendor quotes<\/li>\n
  • Place intercompany purchase orders and monitor, expedite orders, and update prices<\/li>\n
  • Attend weekly department\/interdepartmental meetings<\/li>\n
  • Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality<\/li>\n
  • Ensure that the manufactured product meets customer specifications<\/li>\n
  • Maintain documentation for production related activities for reference purposes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    <\/b><\/p>\n

    Experiencia:<\/b><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required<\/li>\n
    • 2-5 years’ experience with SAP required<\/li>\n
    • Familiarity with engineering prints\/customized parts and metal fabrication<\/li>\n
    • Familiarity with raw steel purchasing, and material types<\/li>\n
    • Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.<\/li>\n
    • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask<\/li>\n
    • Knowledge in (and\/or ability to learn) hydraulics, electrical systems, pneumatics, mechanical systems, and PLC\u2019s not required, but a plus<\/li>\n
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
